Service Description

Guests hike and explore the surroundings including a rope swing and natural pools while others choose to simply relax, enjoying sounds and views of the rainforest. By picking you up early we avoid crowds. We encourage you to read the 400+ five star reviews from past guests. We help you navigate difficult sections of the trail and enjoy safely. We start out by picking up at 6:30am at the parking lot of Kasalta Bakery. (Note: the bakery will NOT be open.) Once we arrive to El Yunque and begin our hike, our guide will offer details about the local plants and animals along the way. At our destination we will spend a couple hours enjoying the space. Your safety is of the utmost importance to our guides. There are both shallow and deep sections of the water, where people of all swimming levels can enjoy. The trail is muddy, rocky, and wet. There are some sections that involve climbing up and down rocks and walking through ankle-high water. It takes about 20 minutes to complete the trail each way, roughly 1 kilometer (or 0.62 miles). On our way back to San Juan, we try to stop at the Luquillo Kiosks for a quick bite at the beach when possible. Then drop you back off in San Juan you can still enjoy a full day. IMPORTANT: Please consider if you and your party is physically able to take part of the hike. Consider your activity level and physical condition before you book this tour. If upon starting the tour our guide determines you will not be able to take part in most of the normal physical activities we must take part in we can cancel your booking for safety concerns.
